Ultimately, this port is great for those who are not always going to run a silencer. This is the perfect gas port for a Flow-Through/Low Back Pressure can.

Suppressed or Unsuppressed Usage: This gas port is perfect for those that want to run a combination of suppressed and unsuppressed shooting.
Optimized for Flow-Through Style Silencers: We have optimized this gas port to run perfectly with Flow-Through style silencers.
Unsuppressed Usage: This port size was optimized for unsuppressed usage. We went as small as you can go and still run reliably while unsuppressed, so that when you do run a silencer, the system won’t be too over gassed.

The SIONICS Extreme Reduced Gas Port Barrel is a silencer-optimized barrel that is designed to work with .30 caliber or full-size silencers. The reduced gas port helps to minimize gas blowback, felt recoil, and carbon build-up, resulting in a smoother and more comfortable shooting experience. THE SIONICS EXTREME REDUCED GAS PORT BARREL IS NOT DESIGNED FOR USE WITH FLOW-THROUGH SILENCERS.
